The West Tower at ZL1ZLD is a tilt-over model, installed on the base of one of the original ZLD receiving towers. It supports a tri-band 4-element yagi, as well as one end of the multi-band wire Vee Beam and one end of the Marconi Tee aerial.

On 6 May 2012, MPRG members replaced the defective rotator on the West Tower.
