JRC NSD-166P transmitter

This JRC ‘standby’ transmitter was installed along with a virtually identical 2-channel model at Auckland Radio ZLD in 1967, and both were used until the station closed in 1993.

The transmitter used a solid-state exciter with valves in the power amplifier.
